Secondly, if you are pregnant or lactating, it would be better to avoid the use, because there are no reliable researches about glucosamine’s impact on the breast milk or on nursing baby. Thirdly, if you have diabetes, blood clotting disorder or have already experienced allergy to drugs and supplements, please do not use glucosamine without previously consulting a doctor, because glucosamine and chondroitin have anticoagulant effect and they may increase the glucose levels in your blood. Also, bear in mind that Glucosamine&Chondroitin Formula cannot be used to replace medication prescribed for you by a doctor. Additionally, it is not recommended to use glucosamine&chondroitin with chitosan, usually marketed as a weight loss product, because it may delay or impair the absorption of active ingredients.

Are there any adverse effects?

Unwanted reactions and adverse effects to glucosamine&chondroitin with MSM are pretty rare andusually completely harmless. The most common adverse effects are nausea, diarrhea, constipation and increased intestinal gas. However, these supplements are generally well-tolerated.

I am new to this supplement. What is the recommended dosage?

It is 3 capsules a day. It is preferable to take one with each meal, so as not to upset the stomach.
